The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older get a flu vaccine by the end of October, help drive this message and use the communication materials in this toolkit to encourage everyone to get their flu vaccine by Halloween.

  • Encourage staff to wear flu vaccination pins or stickers
  • Encourage staff to dress-up for “Boo to the Flu” the week of Halloween
  • Send a weekly email in October to encourage getting a flu vaccine
